Michael "Shorty MIC" Goral Lived and grew up on the Gritty streets of Broadmeadows. In 2001 Michael "Shorty MIC" Goral was caught in the drug game selling drugs to keep himself through school, Michael "Shorty MIC" started rapping and writing rhymes as a hobby at the age of 13 when his mother Katarina Shaw bought him his first rap/hip hop CD, a CD by The Notorious B.I.G.
| Coming from the Westside Michael "Shorty MIC" Goral Started Listening to the West coast sounds of N.W.A. 2Pac, Ice Cube & Dr Dre and started to develop his own West coast sound, Voice heavily Influenced by Ice Cube and Beat music composing heavily Influenced by Dr Dre, Michael "Shorty MIC" Goral Started rapping and free styling on the streets and in school. Many years passed after struggling to get into the music industry as a Caucasian Rap artist he decided to take the recording and beat making into his own hands. Writing, recording and releasing his music to the streets Michael "Shorty MIC" Goral started getting a reputation as the best or one of the best rappers in the town, Moving to Ballarat around the year 2005 - 2006 things started to go a bit slow until he started to release tracks on the streets again. After a while he attracted the attention of a three man music group of islanders Called 'Island Remedy' after being asked to join the group the named changed shortly after to KBD (Kritical Beatdown) The group of four made one song, after dropping one member from the Group, Una Kolo, Millz & Michael "Shorty MIC" Goral were the remaining members of the KBD Rap/Hip Hop crew and started making group music for the streets grabbing the attention of many listeners. Which left Una Kolo & Shorty MIC to do the music biz as a duo. After a brief pause from making music Shorty MIC & Una Kolo decided to change the crew name to Street Souljahs and the music chemistry was back but this time with a different vision, to work with different rappers and sounds. Shortly after Shorty MIC was given a contact through a co worker at his workplace which lead to another member to join the Street Souljahs a female rap artist from Geelong who goes by the name of Lil Tusha. Shorty MIC & Una Kolo Decided to keep Lil Tusha as a permanent member of The Street Souljahs. So now it’s back to three members in the crew but only temporarily. Occasionally Millz will come back in and jump on a track to bring in the Southside flow making the group complete for a short period. But soon Millz will be back making the rap group complete making it the way it started as a four person group. |
